This is a sampler version of the Epic 'New York Counterpoint' written by contemporary composer Steve Reich. We recorded this as a multi-track overdub session of 12 Clarinet parts. This interpretation is performed by Yorkshire based up and coming woodwind player Daniel Swires-Hennessy.
Written by singer/songwriter Chris Sayburn, this is taken from his EP - Response. The brief for this recording was to capture the energy and performance of him and his 5 piece band to tape. We opted to approach this scenario as a live recording. Overdubs were kept to a minimum - only main and backing vocals were necessary.
